Infobank-Infobroker: value-based information exchange is the service of the future

IBB

In today’s digital world, information is an asset. The right information empowers decision-making and drives success.

Without leveraging our data, others will capitalize on it instead.

IBB provides comprehensive information management and trading services designed to manage data assets (InfoBank) and trade them effectively (InfoBroker), all grounded in data ownership principles.

InfoBank - Data Asset Management

InfoBank is a powerful platform for managing data assets, ensuring secure storage, and verifying ownership.

The information has a real value. Information is valuable and, when managed properly, can be transformed into a financial asset that benefits both the owner and the end-users. By ensuring correct management, we unlock the full potential of digital data.

The protection of personal information is provided by validation procedures related to the architecture of the system to ensure compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act.

InfoBank funcionalities:

  • Data Ownership Protection: InfoBank guarantees the ownership of data through secure and compliant validation procedures that align with the Personal Data Protection Act.
  • Flexible Data Management: Information can be categorized and stored in domain-specific formats, defined by domain managers.
  • Private Data Repositories: Information can be securely uploaded and stored in private repositories under the InfoBank system, ensuring digital ownership.

InfoBroker - Value-based information trading

InfoBroker allows users to determine the value of their information, track demand and supply, and engage in secure transactions.

  • Information Valuation & Pricing Management: Establish the value of information, manage its price (exchange rate), execute transactions accordingly.
  • Market Demand & Supply Management: Track and manage information requests and offers, facilitating smooth trading.
  • Auction, bidding: Information trading is supported by flexible auction options.
  • Settlement: The IBB-Token (IBBT) system facilitates seamless internal clearing and payment settlements.
  • Decoupling Supply & Demand:  InfoBroker allows for flexibility in trading by eliminating the need for value-identical information packages between buyers and sellers. This is made possible by the IBBT-based settlement system, which enables funds from one transaction to be utilized in future exchanges.

InfoBroker provides the possibility to unlock the mutuality of supply and demand roles

A user in the seller role does not need to receive a value-identical information package from the buyer.

An IBBT-based settlement system can be a bridge, as it allows an IBBT amount received in a sale to be used in an independent transaction.

Market deployment framework

  • Main objective of the project: to support the secondary use of data assets by unlocking demand-supply pairs
  • The essential objective for market deployment is to define a business model that builds on mutual demand-supply actors to create a sustainable operation.
    • At the same time, with the possibility of an IBBT-based clearing system, the real objective is to break these demand-supply role dependencies. Thus, these mutual case pairs are a means of understanding, while at the same time the system can provide a way to bridge these dependencies.
  • As initial domain domains, we interpret the following:
    • Health
    • Agriculture
  • The direction related to the management of public data assets is not a proper partitioning of domains, as it involves several domains. At the same time, the management of public data assets and their exploitation represents a significant source of public revenue.
